You’ll get to spend an afternoon with the designer and founder of Auralis, learning about how the company produces its collections and collaborating to create your own unique garment - from sketch to final product!

Auralis prides itself in making clothes that are beautifully designed and responsibly made. They use organic, sustainable, natural and recycled fabrics and their textile processing uses low impact methods with a minimal environmental footprint. They’ve been featured in Women’s Wear Daily, the Huffington Post, the Daily News, and many other fashion publications.

Your studio experience is with Auralis Herrero-Lugo herself, designer and owner of the Auralis line. You’ll find out about how she started her company and how she works to design, source fabrics, produce and package her beautiful line of clothing. Then it’s your turn to try your hand at designing, as you and Auralis work together to create your own and original garment - a beautiful silk top. Auralis will help you sketch, cut, sew, dye and edit the garment yourself!

This is an amazing way to see a fashion designer at work and to participate hands-on in the design process. A must for anyone interested in fashion, up close and from the inside!
